New Grant for Bildeston CSG

Suffolk Community Foundation has provided £2,000 in grant funding to the Bildeston Community Support Group through its Surviving Winter 2025/26 programme.

The funds are provided to support to vulnerable families in the area who are facing fuel and food poverty this winter. The scheme is part of Suffolk Community Foundation's annual appeal to raise funds to help older people stay warm and has been running for 15 years.

"By working with organisations rooted in their communities, the appeal ensures that donations reach those most in need quickly and effectively, making a real difference to lives across Suffolk," says a statement on the the Suffolk Community Foundation website.

"We're very grateful for this award and it will go a long way to alleviate suffering this winter for many in our community," reports Shaun Moffat of Bildeston Community Support Group. "This winter we're gearing up for what can, for many, be the toughest time of the year, and this money will help very much in our efforts."
