Caring for our community is much more than providing food parcels. Indeed, more than 40% of what we do doesn’t involve food. As a member of the Good Neighbour Scheme, we are there to step in with support as any good neighbour would do.
If you have a collection of problems and need a helpful team to work through them with you, BCS are here for you. We can reach out to most agencies and represent you in confidence. Equally, if you need someone to help you hang a fairy on your Christmas tree, it wouldn’t be our first time.

How to use the food bank
Bildeston Community Support helps people who are referred by local and regional agencies and local government offices.
We will also accept self-referral for residents living in the IP7 postal area. Residents in adjacent postal areas will also be considered subject to your personal circumstances and whether there is no other local foodbank provision. All self-referrals must be able to prove receipt of means tested benefits.
